“Back Where I Belong”, Justin’s third song and music video has been released! “This song was among the first couple I wrote,” said Justin. “And even though the video is about a basketball player and the adversity he faces, the song itself isn’t specific to sports or any single story.  I wrote it based on feelings I remembered having at different points in my life – some really good and some that were not. It’s about the roller coaster that is life – sometimes you’re ahead and sometimes you’re behind; and everybody has their own story whether it’s with their career, a relationship, or something else. But when dark days come, hold onto your hope in the better days ahead and keep moving forward.  When there’s hope, faith, and love there is always a chance to overcome anything.”

A short synopsis of the video:
A high school basketball star with offers to his choice of major college programs suffers devastating injuries in a car crash.  Facing a post-accident lifestyle that is a complete reversal of the perfect world he was used to, the young man finds himself losing hope as he goes down the long road of rehab, starting with the process of learning to walk again. He finds inspiration in his family, his faith, and from remembering his lifelong love of the game.  With a newfound focus on something bigger than the basketball star dream that was taken away from him, he eventually sets his sights on an “against all odds” comeback to the court.
