Justin’s newest song, “Breaking Away”, was released on February 27th.  A catchy tune about breaking free from whatever is holding you back from reaching your goals, this song earned an accolade from Nashville Songwriters Association.

The music video is different than any of Justin’s previous releases.  “This is the first one,” Justin said, “where I’ve done the directing and video editing myself.  It was both challenging and exhilarating.  My goal was to make a video that would be funny and different than any I’ve done before and I wanted to use some of the newest techniques available to achieve that.  The concept for the video was inspired by my frequent leg injuries in recent years and the desire to still be able to race and do other things I want to do despite those setbacks.”

The video is dedicated to Justin’s dad, who passed unexpectedly last summer.  “He loved many of the things that are in this video,” said Justin.  “I think it would be his favorite.”
